Chunk Love Early Access on Patreon

Hey folks! I've continued progress on my Dating Sim project,  if you wanna support the development of this project, the early access is now available on my Patreon to be able to test out and preview each significant update! I want to have the trio of Coach Hard, Bruce, and Donutboy as solid roman-cable options. 

It's cool if you can't support for whichever reason, once I have a playable mix of art, story, and, I'll be posting another demo in the future to be able to sample the new routes! I'll be working with a writer and getting a bit more serious with the scope of the story. It's my goal to make folks really fall in love with my big boys, if you haven't already. ;)

Hey guys!! I'm very happy to come back from my cave to report that I've implemented Bruce's route into my Chunk Love project! This is the second step of the genesis of Chunk Love.

The main focus of this update was Bruce's basic route. Donutboy's route remains untouched for now. However, I did decide I wanted to show some rough drafts of CG's I've been planning for Bruce. Don't worry, I'll be giving all my big boys the same amount of love!

Juggling writing, coding, and art for a multi route visual novel has been proving to be a huge challenge. It is a completely different beast from my last kinetic novel project, Ghoul Investigators. Figuring out the various pieces of Bruce's dynamic sprite, and how to code in different parts has honestly been the main challenge. But felt AMAZING to see him come to life once I get the code working!

So at least from the current moment of writing this, I'll be working with a writer, and hopefully a coder to help with the challenging parts of the story so I have more time to work on art, and hopefully live composites. 

To be honest. Game Dev is an unexplored venture, but I'm excited to see how things grow as my scope broadens with where I wanna take my project."

Coming up next.

-Work with my writer to make an outline of the full vision of the Paprika Chunk Story

 -Update Donutboy's sprite, and start work on Coach Hard's sprite

 -Get some CG's completed

Speaking of dynamic sprites, Im currently working on a plan to be able to make animated talk sprites a smooth process, this is one of the things I wanna implement to make my project stand out! Animating the frames is the easy part, but putting them in the game is certainly gonna prove to be a challenge.
